Tuesday, June 16th. Guess who turns 9? This is for the daughter of a friend and colleague, a very girly girl who loves pink. Since this is SO far outside my comfort zone, I had to post a picture of it to prove I can make something light and frothy. The main paper is a piece of saved handmade paper with some satin stitching. I added some DP, pink gauze ribbon and some pearls. Hope she likes it.Sunday, June 14, 2009

ReplyDeleteI have seen people say that they use mineral oil, baby oil... with chalks. I have been using it but don't know if I am "doing it" right or not! I chalk the image and then rub a q-tip in the baby oil and then rub it on the chalked image. It makes the image brighter and blends in pretty good. It works well with flesh tones since I don't have the right color of Copic Markers for that yet!
