A new Challenge!! My friend Lisa from The Craft's Meow has started up a challenge and the first one is good for me since I'm on a "clean-up" (not that you'd know from the amount of stuff still on my desk!!). You have to use something that's been lying about, waiting for your inspiration..... so I decided to try and find a use for the orange things I like but can never quite manage. The DP is Bali Breeze from SU, and the terracotta scrap and orange ribbon are both from my "what-will-I-do-with-this?" folder, all on cream CS 4.5" square. The lovely flower is a SU Fifth Avenue Floral with some colouring and gold gel pen to pick up the stamens. The embossed sentiment is a bargain-box find, and the graduated pearls are from Creative Charms.
This is pure orange loveliness, Carolann. When it comes to orange, it's all about the shade... and you've caputured just the right ones. Thank you SO MUCH for playing in my challenge. I'm going out on a limb here, but I figure I can get by with a little help from my friends. Didn't someone write a song? I love that Kristine made the cat black on my challenge badge... as soon as I saw it, I thought of you!

Fantastic card Carolann! Love the color ORANGE and it reminds me of summer in the states here... with a sunny day upon us! (Which we had today!) And the pearls are perfect in the 3 different sizes. I'm getting into this look myself... so fun! I'm sure LISA is in heaven with you playing along... I have lots of items I hoard on my craft table! LOL! SMILES... :)
